Comprehensive Security Cooperation Course Completed

On March 20, 2024, 92 Fellows from 31 locations around the world completed the Comprehensive Security Cooperation (CSC) course 24-1 at the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies. Dr. Miemie Winn Byrd and Dr. Ethan Allen served as faculty leads for the 5-week course, which enhances the capacity of regional allies, partners, and others to comprehend and cooperatively address complex security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.

RFMF Commander addresses CSC Fellows
|
Major General Jone Kalouniwai, Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) and a 2017 alumnus of the Transnational Security Cooperation course visited DKI APCSS to address participants of the Comprehensive Security Cooperation course, including three senior Fijian officials, sharing insights on regional security and cooperation. His visit reaffirmed the strong ties between Fiji and DKI APCSS, emphasizing the role of executive education and strategic dialogue in fostering regional security and cooperation.

ROK-US Alliance '70 for 70'

DKI APCSS’ Dr. James M. Minnich is featured in a new publication by the ROK-US Alliance Foundation and the Korea Defense Veteran’s Association called “ROK-US Alliance: 70 for 70.” The publication features profiles of 70 people and their experiences on the Peninsula.
