Major Esther Kim joined the Daniel K. Inouye Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies (DKI APCSS) in June 2022 as a military fellow.
Prior to joining DKI APCSS, Major Kim was the Director of Operations of the 744th Communications Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, MD, where she led a diverse team providing communications support to the Air Force District of Washington and associated organizations throughout the National Capital Region.
Major Kim is a 2011 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. She was awarded a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Management and Cybersecurity from Colorado State University and holds a CISSP and PMP certification. She is a graduate of the United States Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School at MCB Quantico, VA.
