In the future the defense policies founded by General MacArthur will come under challange from the Peoples Republic of China. They are waiting for the right time to start this offensive, just like the NVA did at Tet in 1969 and Mao did at the Chosin Resveroir in the Korean War.Our course of action will be determined by the ability to reinforce our selves and oppose the massive onslaught from the PLA. Our illpreparedness for this conflict can be seen the two hard hitting wars I have cited. The problem is that we dont live and learn from our military blunders.
