The library sits in a relatively small footprint since we are principally a digital library. There are three librarians in total including a reference librarian, a library technician and the chief. The library supports both the faculty and Fellows for in residence programs, in region programs and alumni support. Fellows’ projects require the majority of research during our courses along with general library database use. For alumni, assistance for research and use of the Military Education Resources Library Network (MERLN) for work projects requires a good deal of support. Challenges include the relative size of library and staff and training is also a challenge as there are limited opportunities beyond those offered through librarian conferences.
