Gathering regional leaders, alumni, foundation members and distinguished guests, DKI APCSS celebrated its 30th Anniversary Alumni Workshop on Sept. 17, 2025, with a commemorative dinner honoring three decades of collaboration across the Indo-Pacific.

The evening’s honored guests included Hawaii Gov. Josh Green, who praised the center’s enduring commitment to fostering peace and security through education and dialogue. Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi also attended.

A highlight of the night was the world premiere of a new documentary showcasing the history, mission and impact of DKI APCSS. The program also featured cultural performances, a presentation of alumni achievements and a tribute to the center’s 30-year legacy.

The dinner marked an important milestone in DKI APCSS’ ongoing mission to connect security professionals from across the region. Faculty, alumni and representatives from the Defense Department, Pacific Command and international partner nations gathered to reflect on shared accomplishments and discuss priorities for the future.

As DKI APCSS prepares for its next cohort and upcoming workshops, the celebration served as a moment of reflection and renewal — reinforcing the center’s role as a hub for multilateral collaboration in the Indo-Pacific. Since its founding, DKI APCSS has welcomed more than 1,500 maritime and security professionals, with its 2025 programs continuing to focus on maritime domain awareness, strategic competition and crisis response.
