This is the informational and educational technology-department, and they maintain two unclassified local area networks and a classified network. The biggest challenge is and will remain information assurance. They have historically had very high readiness with a talented team. Customer Service division receives many compliments due to their responsiveness and tenacity in fixing problems. Network Technology division, manages all of our different networks and enterprise applications, which can be challenging.
Information Assurance has grown over the past couple years due to the rapid expansion of requirements. They received accolades from PACOM for their thoroughness, but IA is our biggest challenge. Visual Information is the contracted support staff and the core of the team has been with us for more than a decade and are very responsive.
