Director Pete Gumataotao and Professor Shyam Tekwani of the DKI APCSS recently visited the Republic of Maldives to reconnect with our alumni from the government and military. The US Ambassador Hugo Yon hosted the trip, which provided an opportunity to demonstrate how APCSS impacts the region. The visit also highlighted the importance of the Maldives and their alumni network in promoting security throughout the Indo-Pacific and how important the Maldives and their alumni network are in fostering security throughout the Indo-Pacific.
