Alumni from New Zealand and Vietnam Get Together
Several Asia-Pacific Center for Security Alumni gathered together at a National Defence Academy visit in Hanoi. Group Captain Rod Fortune, who sent this photo, is a NZ Defence Attache based in Bagkok, but accredited to Vietnam.
“Recently the NZDF Staff College visited Thailand and Vietnam, and the chance was taken to catch up with my colleague, Snr CAPT Do Minh Thai at the National Defence Academy in Hanoi during the visit” said Fortune.
Fortune also noted that 2005 is the 30th anniversary of NZ establishing diplomatic relations with Vietnam.
