ROK Minister of Defense visits APCSS

H.E. Yoon, Minister of Defense for the Republic of Korea, visited the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies Thursday. The visit included a command brief and tour of the Center. Minister Yoon's visit to APCSS was part of a trip to Indonesia, the Philippines, and the U.S. He also visited U.S. Pacific Command while on Oahu.Minister Yoon is a retired vice admiral of the ROK Navy. He has been the minister of defense since 2004.

HONOLULU — Today 94 senior military and civilian government leaders from 34 countries throughout the region graduated from the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies “Executive Course” in Honolulu. The Fellows received their diplomas from retired Army Lt. Gen. Ed Smith, director of the Center.
