The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has been named the new Executive Agency for the Asia- Pacific Center for Security Studies, effective October 1, 2005. DSCA replaces the Department of Navy in this capacity. For more information on DSCA, check the agency’s website at

APCSS will continue maintain a close working relationship with the U.S. Pacific Command.DSCA also now serves as EA to the four other U.S. Department of Defense regional centers — George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, The Africa Center for Strategic Studies, Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies, and Near East-South Asia Center for Strategic Studies.
