Cyber workshop held at DKI APCSS

A one-day workshop entitled “Cooperative Security in Critical Infrastructure Resilience in Cyberspace,” was held Oct. 7 at the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies in Honolulu. A total of 25 participants from 8 countries convened to discuss the opportunities and challenges of ensuring the resilience of a nation’s critical infrastructure sectors such as energy, transportation, banking, healthcare, and communications in cyberspace. U.S. President Donald Trump and Secretary of Defense General James Mattis offered increased US-ASEAN cooperation to build maritime domain awareness to address comment threats to regional security at the East Asia Summit and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Defense Ministers’ Meeting-Plus in late 2017. In support of this commitment, the Daniel K.
