Director Gumataotao delivers insights on the Indo-Pacific region at Nauru government’s ambassador’s retreat

Peter Gumataotao, director of the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies, was invited as a special guest speaker for the Nauru government’s ambassadors’ retreat held in Cairns, Australia from June 28-30. DKI APCSS Director, Pete Gumataotao led a delegation of Center faculty and staff through a visit to Thailand. Senior regional leaders complete transnational cooperation course at DKI APCSS

Twenty-five senior leaders from twenty-four locations participated in the Transnational Security Cooperation course (TSC 18-1) from May 20 – 25 at the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (DKI APCSS). The Course Manager for this iteration of TSC was Navy Cmdr. Jonathan Odom and the Course Coordinator was Lt. Col. Alex Bortado.
